Gerald Segasby is “GDS Cards” and sole proprietor. Gerald was a jockey for 5 years and has first hand experience of the horseracing world. This becomes obvious when you view his extraordinary fine quality cards. These are exciting and beautiful visual descriptions of his industry and incorporates historical associations, famous horse winners and well-known trainers and jockeys to mention a few. Gerald has capture the essence of what horseracing is all about. Trainers, Derby Winners and famous jockeys, the list are endless. Each unique collection has a stamp of authority and is unique to GDS Cards. Trade Cards and Post Cards have been carefully crafted and considered by leading graphic designers and artist with Gerald having the final word passing each individual production to ensure the finest print finish. When Gerald was asked why he started manufacturing Cigarette cards and trade cards, his response was pretty direct, existing cards was too expensive, they used cheap materials and poor images and print, the subjects was unimaginative and simply poor quality for the money. So working directly with artist, designers, photographers, copyrighters and printers I could control every aspect of the work and guarantee to my customers they would get value for money.
